Salary expectations in Dubai

I'm posting this message in the hope that somebody will be able to give me some advice...

I will soon be relocationg to Dubai from the UK with my husband. I hold a BA in Languages, LL.B (Law), LL.M(Masters) in International Commercial Law. I am currently working in Asset Management for the UK Gov. Also hold commercial exp in Banking and an internship in Commercial Law

I however plan to start a career in Law in Dubai and for this purpose, I have already an interview lined up with an international law firm there.

What is reasonable for me to expect from them in terms of salary, package etc.? I know that I shall be negotiating all these aspects in the interview, but what is reasonable to expect taking into consideration my top quals from UK and commercial experience so far?

The only thing is that I do not have the exp in Law, so it will be more of an entry position in this area. However, I do not want to sell myself cheaply there as I do believe that I am very qualified.

My position will be as a Legal advisor (I believe).

Can anyone give me some good advice please?

What is the package that I have to expect from an international firm?

Many thanks.

Bella
