Worker's Rights UAE

I have been working in AD for 1 month now. Does anyone have any idea about worker's compensation laws in UAE? I work in construction and frequently have to go on site, as well as drive between Abu Dhabi and Dubai. These seem to be 2 of the most dangerous things you can do over here!

I was just wondering if something should happen to me, will i be covered, or is it worth taking out some form of health insurance, either from here or my home country (Aus.)?
