LOOKING AT MOVING TO UAE

My family and I are looking at moving to the UAE Abu Dhabi/Sharjah in the near future I am married with a 15 year old boy. We've been trying the last few months to get some information regarding engineering jobs in the UAE but to no avail my main concern would be schools for my son and is it better to be in the country to apply for jobs??? My husbands got a trade certification with 24 years working experience as a printers engineer and was wondering if that is exceptable by UAE standards any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
