American Women's Club

Hello,
I will be following my husband to Abu Dhabi later this year. I was wondering if there was a chapter of the American Women's Club/Association in Abu Dhabi. I noticed there was one in Dubai, but that's a little far to travel for a meeting. Are there any other clubs for expat women to get together?

We are also empty nesters (40-somethings) looking to meet others our age. I'm excited to be moving to Abu Dhabi and look forward to meeting new people and making friends. Just need a place to start. :)
