Irish teachers in Abu Dhabi with children

Hi Im in the process of securing a teaching job in Abu Dhabi. Great package except the childrens educations is not provided. They say I have to go first and family travel over a month later which Im not happy about. Iv been told they can come over with me but they wont have a visa and could be fined. Has any other Irish teachers experienced this. Also can any Irish expats tell me what they think of me considering relocating to Abu Dhabi.... Am. Mad??? Or is it a great experience. Please help!!!
