I recently traveled to Tresco and had such a wonderful time. The Abbey there is so beautiful... I'm not usually one for much sightseeing on holiday, but I did have such a fabulous time while I was there. It was noted to me that there are over 20,000 species of exotic plants, and they come from countries all across the globe. The abbey has a layout of different terraces, and each terrace is at a slightly different elevation, which helps mimic climated conditions throughout the world.
I did have such a great time, and I must admit that my travels, and there are more to come, seem to have helped me with my problem last month... i.e. not feeling at home here in the U.K. I'm not totally there, and don't know that I would want to be either, but I did get some sense of "coming home" when I arrived back from Tresco.
I wonder if anyone else more at home after being away for a while?
