Considering Relocation to London

21 years ago
I have recently been offered a 3 year assignment with my current employer in London. I have relocated domestically 3 times in the past 9 years with my current employer (Washington, DC, NY and Chicago. These moves have been relatively painless. We have 3 kids who are 6, 8, and 11.
Can anyone share with me their experience of moving to London with 3 kids of similar age. How difficult was it to find an affordable flat to accomadate 5 people? Any recommendations on neighborhoods and State schools. Any feedback would be much appreciated.
