Shortage of Social workers in UK

Hello. My name is Lilyx. I am currently working on my Masters degree in Social Work. I understand there is a shortage of Social Workers in the UK. What are my chances of obtaining a job in that field in the UK? Can I get a skilled workers permit, or visa? What if I just want to completely relocate over in the UK and stay and work there indefinately? Any Expats who can give me in any info on this, I would be grateful. Oops, I am from the USA
