Just a timely reminder as the political convention season starts in the USA - if you're a US citizen, you can vote in federal elections even though you live in the UK (or anywhere else for that matter).
Go to http://www.fvap.gov for information. The site is written in bureaucratic English, however the actual procedure is simple - a matter of filling out and mailing a form which takes about 5 mins to complete. The procedure varies from state to state.
I really needn't remind everyone how important it is to vote, how close this election will be, how every vote counts yadda yadda - you know all this already. Just do it.
