Moving to London from Seattle

My wife and I are planning to move to London very soon, I have a job offer one from a reputed IT consulting company (50K GBP + Health + Bonuses). Currently I live in Redmond, WA and earn US $77K/year; we live an average life compared to Microsoft millionaires around us! I am wondering if the salary package I am getting in UK would be considered equivalent of what I am already making in US or if I need to negotiate for more for?
