Canada to UK

Hello,

I'm a Uk/Canadian citizen and lived most of my life in Canada. Now that I'm done University however, I'd like to consider returning to the UK.

I'd love any advice on the job situation, especially since my degree in Art would likely mean a very low-level entry job in some completely unrelated industry. Would I be less likely to attain a position in retail or customer service as a result of my accent?

I'm also concerned about my fiance making the transition should we decide to give it a try. I know I'd be fine because I spent time growing up in England and love everything about it, but has anyone else's spouse who may have no ties to England other than yourself, had a very difficult time adjusting?
