Expat Package - your comments

I have been offered a position with my company and was hoping you could take a look at the package and let me know whether you feel it is good/reasonable?

I currently earn CAD 90k with a CAD45k annual bonus.

The company has offered me a GBP 55k salary with GBP 350/per week accomodation allowance. They will also cover all my moving expenses and do my taxes for me. As an added bonus, they will fly me home twice/year.

On the surface, the offer sounds reasonable but the problem is that since my husband will not be joining me in the UK, I will not be selling my home in Canada and my share of the mortgage/expenses will cost me CAD 3000/GBP 1500 per month. This would essentially leave me with about GBP 800 in money to cover everything besides rent.

Is this a good offer? Your thoughts are much appreciated.
