NY to London

Hello! I am preparing for a move from NYC to London early next year. I have a few questions and was hoping to get some opinions. Apologies if this is repetitive to other posts but I figured I might as well be as honest as possible.

*I am a single young professional making $110k + $25k bonus in NY. My company is proposing a package that would take my current salary and add $35k USD after tax as my COLA for London. This works out to about a 40% increase over my US after-tax take home comp, approx 61k pounds after tax. So...is that enough to live comfortably (take away lunch at work every day, eating dinner out 3-4 times a week at casual eateries, traveling for long weekends 1x a month, living in a safe neighborhood etc)? I rent in NY and will rent in London (there will be no subsidy, it's all in the COLA) and won't have a car etc. Part of me thinks this is a large sum but part of me thinks that having visited London recently anything less than 100% is too low.
*(And this is a silly one) - can I bring my LCD tv from the states and use it in London? Do I need some sort of converter? Or will it just not work?

Many, many, thanks!!
