I have been searching for an informative forum like this on relocating to the U.K. The topics and responses I have seen in this forum are very helpful.
I am considering a relocation to the UK with my company. It is not an expat package only a local recruitment so I am trying to negotiate the best package.
Office is located West of Central London in Farnborough.
Base Salary GBP 45000-47500 with potential of 40% of the base salary per year. GBP 500/month car allowance plus moving expenses.
At this point I dont have the offical offer but it looks as if I wont have a COLA, educational benefits or tax help.
I have a wife of two children ages 4 and 7 with a mortgage in the U.S. Initially I will be starting in the UK alone then moving the family later on.
My question is what are ranges of COLA and other benefits that should make the move financially neutral?
Not looking at making a mint but trying to get career growth.
Thanks
