Looking for TVs

Hi,

We just moved to the UK this week. We sold our almost new HD TVs in the US because we were told that they would not work here (we lost a lot of money because they were under 1 year old). I don't want to make the same mistake again and looking to purchase a lightly used, but fairly new TV in the UK from anyone who is making a similar move out of the country. Any help (relevant websites perhaps) is much appreciated!
