A group of five individual entrepreneurs, all from different walks of life, who only a few weeks ago were complete strangers, are attempting to demonstrate that even though the world is in the midst of tough economic times, it is possible to start an ethical business, generate wealth and at the same time provide desperately needed cash for homeless people.
They will be locking themselves into a house in London for a week commencing on the 18th January 2009 and starting with nothing, attempting to create a £100,000 profit by the end of the week using completely legitimate, legal and ethical methods. A part of all proceeds will be donated to homeless charities with the total donation target being at least £10,000.
“We have selected homelessness as our cause for this event because this especially cold winter is a very difficult time for people without warmth and shelter” said Paul, one of the group’s founder members.
The entire event will be filmed and broadcast on television and/or the internet in the near future and there will be a live blog from the house and opportunities to interact with the ethical entrepreneurs. In short: Everyone can track progress in real time.
But instead of just watching on the sidelines, you could
