I recently gave an interview in the UK which involved a powerpoint presentation. I encountered problems projecting my presenation, even though my US laptop had a VGA connection to the UK projector and initially displayed my desktop background, it became sluggish and encountered a windows error. Luckilly, I keep redundant copies on a USB drive and my interview continued without a hitch. Now I am trying to figure out the source of the problem: difference in V/Hz, a windows "thing", something entirely unrelated, etc. If anyone has any ideas, even pertinent weblinks, it would be much appreciated!
