Should I bring a car? Which kind?

I am moving to London with my family in June. We will live there for 3 years. We will be lvery close to London, probably St. John's Wood or something equally close..the question is, should I bring a car and if so, what kind? We can import a car for free and bring it back to the US for free..I have lots of friends in Europe and also have thought about visiting the other countries (close by) by car..so the American car might not be so bad with the steering wheel on the left..I don't see us driving it much in London (am I wrong?) but it could be driven around exploring England, outside of London.

Right now we have a honda odyssey (minivan) and I am worried about bringing such a big car..we do have 2 small kids..the van is paid for, but should we sell it here and bring over a smaller car? Or should we buy something used in London? Help?
