Life Insurance for a US citizen living in London

Hi,

I formerly had a life assurance policy through my employer here in London. I have been made redundant and would like to purchase life insurance. Does anyone know of any company that does this for a US citizen living in London. Most of the UK companies I have found will only insure British citizens.
