Soooo ... from researching this forum and other sources, it seems like renting in London w/ pets is difficult. If one can find a landlord who allows it, then additional deposit/rent is to be expected. Understood.
My question is - would we (my husband and I, no kids, 2 dogs) be more likely to find pet-friendly property/homes (e.g. w/ garden) to let further from central London? My work colleagues who have lived or are living in London all reside in Zone 3 or 4, and from researching properties, rental rates, etc. I believe these areas would suit my husband and me as well. It seems you get more for your money, which in our case means enough space for 2 people, 2 dogs, and maybe a guest from time to time. (We're prepared for the fact that "space" in London will mean something quite different than in the US).
If anyone has experience moving or living with pets outside of central London, I'd appreciate your thoughts!
