Moving to UK no Ex-Pat package offered

My company wants to move me to London, but they are not offering an ex-pat package. They want me to stay at the same pay amount as the US (Texas) but they are at least offering relocation and first month expenses. I see that the cost of living is 38% less here than in London, so I was wondering if any of you had any advise as to what type of items that may cause any serious issues with the move?
