I'm looking for advice on my pay package...I'm moving from Boston to London this fall. I've been offered my current salary, plus:
--Tax equalization
--Cost of Living adjustment of 343 GBP (after taxes)
--Housing Supplement of 625 GBP (before taxes)
--Realtor's fees paid
--Moving there and back paid
--Storage ($150 per month)
--4 visits back to US paid per year
I'm having trouble figuring out if this is enough. I suspect it is not, as a monthly tube pass alone will eat up nearly a third of the COLA, while an apartment comparable to where my husband and I live now will probably cost at least 2k GBP per month.
Any advice on what kind of housing supplement to request in a situation like this? 1k GBP after taxes?
