Hi, I wonder if anyone can help me please. I am a British man married to a salvadoreña and would like to know how Brits in the same position have gone about obtaining residency in the UK for the spouse or how yourselves have obtained residency in El Salvador.
We have been living a nightmare for the past year. Every government office tells us something different, we have have spent a fortune completing legal paper and getting things required to only be told no at the end of it, my wife has been treated terribly in Europe and threatened many times by immigration staff around Europe. We have basically been moving around because we can't find a country that will allow us to stay together for to long in one place. The UK where I am born and bred wont allow her to stay because I don't have a salary of £18,600 a year. At present my wife has until March to remain in the UK whereby we will have to return to El Salvador because she is not allowed to remain here. Any advice would be deeply appreciated as we have had no consistency or luck with the home office or embassies and I have almost been left with no money due to the expenses or moving around and legal costs. Thank you for your time, Feliz dia :)
