work visa question for spouse

My husband got a job offer for Birmingham and our decision to accept rests partly on my ability to get a job in UK. He is an engineer and will have I think a Tier 2 work visa, and myself and our two kids coming as his dependents.

Question is, I will need to find a job with a company/organization that is willing to sponsor my own work visa, correct?

If so, is it difficult finding companies/orgs that are willing to do this? I've worked mainly for non-profit organizations, but also for a publisher.
