Is there anyone on the UK Forum with experience applying for either the Tier 1 Entrepreneur or Investor Visa?

I am an American looking to relocate to Europe/UK/Ireland and find full or part time entrepreneurship opportunities as I transition to eventual retirement. Also interested in finding local partners for start-up ideas.
