Shipping from US to UK?

Hello. We'll be moving to Bath from the Boston area (USA) soon. I am wondering whether anyone knows of a "cheap" way to ship boxes. We don't need to send furniture, just boxes of household items (unless too expensive.)

So excited to be moving to Bath! Anyone have ideas on how to meet people there? We are in our 60s and do a lot of walking/hiking. So I thought I'd look for walking groups. Other ideas?
