While I don't believe I would be considered an expat as I am only looking to move to South American temporarily (about 4 months), this site is one of the few that I have found that seems to actually provide feedback.
My sister and I are looking to explore and experience South America, preferably Uruguay, Argentina or Chile. However, I would like some advice on the best options for us and resources we might utilize. We are both college graduates, 24 & 29 respectively who are looking to work for a few months in SA.
I am looking for advice on the best locations for us. I am quite taken with Uruguay, but don't know much about the best area for us to relocate too. Also, it will have to be an area that can provide us with employment and housing for the short term. We are open to different working opportunities, even teaching English, though neither of us has a TESOL certification or such. My sister speaks passable Spanish and I plan to learn the basics before departure.
Any help or advice you can give me would be greatly appreciated. After some endless searching of the internet, I have yet to find anything as good as personal reccomendations.
Thanks,
Courtney
