Document Translation Question

Hi. I just joined today and am starting to put together the necessary documents for my wife's and my residency in Uruguay. I've learned that Foxtranslate.com will translate my birth and marriage certificates, FBI background check, etc. and I could therefore have these all ready before arriving in country. My question is will these translations be acceptable to the authorities in Uruguay or do the translations have to be done by an Escribano there? We may be pressed for time, so the more we can do before we leave the better. Thank you in advance for any advice/information.
