My husband and I have been dreaming and hoping and wishing about Uruguay for years, and have been crushed to find out that income requirements have gone up. I think we can still make it, but I'm very curious to get some actual numbers, if anyone would be so brave as to share!
I also have a burning curiosity about whether or not giving birth to a child in Uruguay entitles someone to residency in the country as is the case in Argentina. I found one piece of information on all of the internet even addressing this issue - the woman interviewed said yes, but since it's just one interview, I'm not sure how much I trust it! PLEASE, if anyone knows or has experience, I am on pins and needles longing to find out!
