i'm a canadian living in the uk with a british partner.
we'd like to come to south america for 1-2 yrs, work, travel, and build up our spanish.
we've narrowed it down to 4 countries and are now trying to compare work visas as a final decision maker. i am having a devil of a time finding anything official for uruguay. the best i can get at is their 'relationes exterierores' page, which is not available in english and cannot be put through google translate with any consistency. my spanish is too basic to cope.
everything i find on forums like this is 'how do i work without a visa' or 'how do i immigrate permanently' and we aren't interested in either. i'm not interested in spending 100s of quid just to find out how to apply for a visa--let alone the money we'll spend on the application itself.
any help? any links?
