Hotels, short term rentals

Hello again,

We have purchased out tickets and will be in Uruguay January 1st! We are so excited and ready for this move.

I was wondering if anyone had suggestions for hotels near the airport? And hotels, short term rentals or even a homestay in Atlantida? We would like to stay in a temporary rental for a few weeks while we find a long term rental.

We have a tight budget and don't require a 5 star stay. Affordability over comfort is fine with us.

I know that it will be tourists season so we will have to work with that. Any advice or suggestions would be welcome!

It will be a family of 4, the two children are 3 and 1.
