after driving long distances last weeks iv passed throw many peajes to pay 75 peso each time, in the beginning i thought it is a tax for the department, but today i had to pay twice in the department(canelones), in a distance of no more than 30 km from each other, i mean what prevent them to put more more and peajes? where is this money going to? why motorcycles dont pay?
u can imagine that with such amount of money the roads could be better but most of the roads are in terrible conditions and im not talking about small rural roads...
also today when iv been stopped by police officer for licence check i ask why i need to pay so much peaje and what is the reason for that, and he told me that if i have problem to pay i can go back to my country in a real angry tone...
in most of my drives i need to pay at least 2 times, in sometimes 4-5 times(!).
