Importing firearms & associated parts

Well it has been a long six month process to acquire my "tenencia de tener y adquerir armas", my Uruguay firearms license. While I now posses firearms that cost 2-x US prices, I still have not the "manual", and so CANNOT BUY AMMO! I brought the clay pidgeon launcher, but cannot use it. Uruguay is a paper shuffle on steroids, requiring virtually extreme patience, which at my age ,I am finally learning. It was quite a process getting licensed and the Jefatura de Policia de Maldonado decided to put us through yet another set of tests, their own written and shooting tests at their facility and the army 4th engineers base. I am interested in knowledge about bringing magazines, antique firearms, and/or one's own collection that was not was not in the shipping container. I have researched airline requirements, ut what should I expect in terms of customs at Carrasco Airport?
