Selling GBP! BROU and Cambio Sir no longer buy!

Well that wasn't a pleasant experience today. Coming to Uruguay with GBP we have always exchanged our GBP at Banco Republica.
I visited them today and informed me they no longer buy GBP!! omg!

I went to the neighbouring Cambio Sir. They said the same!!!

So I guess my only other option is Gales Cambio which have the worst rate!!.

Wish I had left most of the GBP in the UK now. We brought some for emergencies in case we had issues with our cards or in the worst-case scenario lost our cards.

Any other places that have a better rate then Gales Cambio?
