Beyond meat in Uruguay

Amazingly in a country where cattle outnumber people by almost 4 to 1 and beef is a staple, you can now find Beyond Meat products!

So far only ground beef in bulk or preformed patties and now spicy Italian sausage or bratwurst. Compared to the cardboard like veggie patties they sell these are amazing.

As a former Vegan in my California days I found that diet unsustainable when I came to Uruguay. And while I am not going back to that it is nice to have some options that actually taste good and are a much lighter meal than chorizos.

So far have only seen them in the Devoto, but hopefully they will do well and remain available!
