Any expats living in the Ciudad Vieja? We’re in Montevideo and saw some apartments in the area (looking to buy). Also saw some of the “issues” on the street. Looking to hear from people who live there and their thoughts—has the area improved? Is it relatively safe? What do you see happening in the future? Etc.
