Choosing Mutualista? Or the British?

I'm arriving at a point where I am going to start contributing fonasa through a freelance unipersonal and am considering changing mutualista.
Currently paying for Cosem without any fonasa discount.

Wife is is now 50 is complaining about the long waiting times for consultations. As we get older we are not too happy with this.

Do we stay with Cosem or pay the extra for the private hospital El Britanico?

3 of us, 13yr old son, me (47 and wife (50).

Once I start paying fonasa I see I get good discounts with the British. My son was born there 13 yrs ago when we were with MP. Excellent service and no waiting lists almost.

As part of the British community there is a hugely discounted rate for me and my family. Fixed fee regardless of age!
My wife's fee would be approx 16225 pesos a month without fonasa!!! Very expensive

But as my spouse we'll only pay around 6350 pesos each for the British community benefit (not including the fonasa discount which is about 3000).

Sounds like a great deal but still amounts to about 9500 pesos for the 3 of us on top of fonasa. But take into consideration a normal family here would be paying almost 25000 pesos in comparison at the British.

Anyone know of the MP costs this year also?

All comes down to me willing to pay that extra 250+ USD a month for the British. As the years pass maybe worth it.

I heard the current rules are that you cannot change for 2 years once decided. (even though the British is not a mutualista?)

Thanks
