Hello all! I will conduct my exploration visit in a few months, & I've been researching airlines. I've traveled with my small dog (in the cabin with me) before so I understand all the steps I must take here in the US r.e. getting her certificates from a USDA vet.
My question pertains specifically to the layover in Panama on COPA. I've read many horror stories on other blogs about COPA's Panamanian ground crew not letting the pet onto the plane - either forcing the animal to go into cargo, or in one instance the person resorted to flying on another airline entirely into MVD.
If anyone has experience & advice on 1) flying COPA with a pet in the cabin, & 2) flying on COPA in general - I thank you in advance!
