Renting an apartment in HCMC - Help!

Hi!
My husband and i will be moving to HCMC by mid-May and need advise about which area in HCMC we should be looking at - that is which is the best area from an expats point of view.
Also if any expat has had a good experience with an estate agent in locating an apartment - we could do with that contact.
