Living in Rural Areas/Smaller towns

I have visited Vietnam twice and truly have fallen in love with the people and the country. I do not know the language and have never been adept at learning foreign languages. Neither HCMC or Hanoi interest me as places to live. I am thinking areas outside of Hue or DaNang. Have lots of questions and would love to start communicating with expats currently living there.
