Moving to Vung Tau??

Hi all,
I'm seriously considering moving to Vietnam and after lots of searches, I feel Vung Tau would be the best choice (i hope) due to its all year round weather.

I will be bringing my 7yr old daughter and all my English Teaching Qualifications (BAVT, BALLN, BE, Justice of the Peace etc,) What I'd hope to do is teach 20-25 hours per week, while home schooling my daughter with the Australian Curriculum (in conjunction with internet).

My questions-
1. Is it safe for families (i.e not too many girly bars.... not good for 7yr old eyes)?
2. Are the hours I suggested feasible?
3. Could we rent a small house as opposed to an apartment?
4. Which areas/districts are best for renting and accessing teaching centers?

We have lived in Indonesia before, so we are used to some challenges faced when relocating overseas.

Can someone living in Vung Tau provide info for me?
