Thinking of moving to Vietnam

Hi
Can anyone help me with the following
I am vietnamese with a British passport. I am thinking of moving to Vietnam permanently. Can anyone advise me if I will have to pay any taxes if I move to Vn? I won't be working. I don't own any properties.
What will happen if I give up my british passport? How do I apply to become a permanent resident? I realise there are some forms on the embassy website but I cannot read vietnamese.
