Drunk driving.

A lot of expats will already be aware of this but new friends looking in may well not, it’s the Tet holiday next week which means everyone needs to take very special care especially today and tomorrow, more people will die this weekend through drunk driving than any other days of the year, if you can avoid it its best to stay of the roads especially between 2 and 4 pm [many family parties are finishing then] and by 5pm you will struggle to get a bed in the hospital, last year 23 dead the weekend before Tet in Nha Trang alone, lets not one of us be one of them.
Extra vigilance in your personal and home security also wont be a bad idea leading up to Tet, stay safe.
