possible US mia grave

Please note This is not a bit of mischief!
.I,m being asked by folk in an outlying town if I can help with the removal of a troublesome spirit that’s haunted them for many years. The spirit is clad in a uniform showing insignia suggesting para troop, an African American. Ive got to give these folk an ear, they believe strongly in such stuff, im open to the possibility of an unrecoverd body.
I appreciate that a ghost hunt is not gonna happen, but have spoken to the folk and asked that they gather any information that they have that might indicate that there is in fact an unrecovered mia in the area. Got a somewhat garbled story that dogtags had been found and passed on to nva , and that graves had been disturbed but cant make sense of the details. I,ll keep at it.
Is there some way that I can check if there are in fact mia,s in a particular area?
What agencies in US / Vietnam should I contact should I find some sound evidence of unrecovered remains.
