Using Momo eWallet in Viet Nam

If anyone has experience using Momo mobile money in Viet Nam, I'd appreciate your comments. Is it widely accepted by vendors? or its it like Apple Pay in the U.S. -- great idea on paper, but people don't use because there is no market penetration & it's too much hassle over existing traditional methods. Thanks.
