international phone calls

Hi all, I needs some help re ma
king international phone calls by landline or cell phone, I need to contact my bank by phone and am clueless as to how I do so.
I have downloaded skype app but have no clue where to buy credit to activate it, do not wish to use online credit transaction to do so.
apparently no international call opertators in Nam to connect me for collect call and Im at a loss on options avaiable for such communications.
And yes, I am a fossilCan someone give me a heads up.
