Hi all, I am planning to relocate from Virginia, USA to Granada as soon as my house sells.
I've found a few expats' blogs, a realty site specific to Granada, and several general info sites which seem great but I'd like to get connected so to speak with some folks actually living there.
I'll be moving there with my two youngest children, girls ages 12 and 14. I have questions about safety, is it OK to carry a purse, an ipad, how easy is it to get around via taxi, are the taxis safe for three females alone, stuff like that I feel is best asked of someone living there.
I guess my hope is to connect directly with an English speaking expat (or several) with whom I can correspond via email and ask specific questions and get detailed answers, and have someone to guide us upon arrival as to things only a local will know, such as neighborhoods to avoid, word of mouth rentals, name of a good salon, so many things...
