Income Requirements

My wife and I are thinking of moving to Nicaragua in 2013. We will use our Social Security income to live off of when we reach 62 but that is still 4-5 years off. If we planned to live on liquid assets but not have any actual income other than that, would this be allowable under the income requirement to immigrate to Nicaragua.
