Hi, I'm new here.

Does anyone know if there is a “what to bring / what not to bring punch list” for those who want to relocate to Nicaragua? I’ve spent hours looking through and gathering information on the Internet. It would nice to find it all on one site.

What are some of the best locations to live?
I’m happy in a grass hut on the beach. What’s realistic for cost of living? I’m retired, and I need to stretch my finances as far as I can.
Should I bring a car (Jeep)?
What are the policy/law/regulations for firearms? I’m big on safety.
What is the local fishing like? Fish from the beach or boat only?
What type of fishing tackle, same as US?
Can I expect to find many English speaking people while I learn Spanish?
