Still looking for a rental

Hi everyone. I have my ticket to arrive in Granada the night of December 4th, and I have set up my appointment with Dr. Esquivel on the 9th. But finding lodging is more difficult than I thought it would be. I’ve checked with the property managers Darrell suggested on another post and have gone through craigslist, but I’m not having any luck. There seems to be a newer apartment complex I have not checked with yet, but if my Spanish is up to speed its 10 minutes by car to the central plaza, which is more of a walk than I can handle right now.

I’m looking for a one bedroom casita or apartment in Granada that is secure and offers a degree of privacy so I can write and recover from dental surgery. I was hoping to keep the rent to about U$500, but will adjust that as necessary to secure a place. I’m a guy in my mid 50’s and I will be in Granada for 1 to 4 months, and then returning a short while later after attending a school for teaching English in Ecuador.

Thank you for any suggestions you can offer.

Bob
